Helen and Dan, Engagement Session
Wed Sep 6th at 8:15 PM
I’ll be honest this was more of a pre-shoot/love shoot than an engagement session as Helen and Dan got engaged last year right next to the Grand Canyon after having just been on a rather awesome helicopter ride. The views from the helicopter were that brilliant that Helen completely missed Dan sneakily taking a photo of the engagement ring right behind her in the helicopter.
Nearly a year has since gone by and in a couple of weeks they will be saying “I do’ and celebrating with family and fiends at the Maynard in Grindleford. So we thought it’d be a good time to meet up and have a chat about the plans and capture some shots in the process.
Now I spend most Tuesday evenings running around the hills and fields of Bradfield on the outskirts of Sheffield. An area that I also knew Dan himself spends a lot of time cycling around. It’s an area that’s prone to capture any sunset going and having made a mental note of the last remaining un-harvested field of wheat a couple of days before (just call me Theresa…actually don’t) it seemed a great place to head for. It most certainly was.
Cant wait for the big day now to capture some more of Helen and dan being Helen and Dan!
