Lara and Max, Derwent Reservoir Wedding

Mon Aug 7th at 2:45 PM
I get genuinely excited about all the weddings we’re lucky enough to capture here at Peakography but the goosebumps were ostrich sized when Lara and Max mentioned the location and plans for their big day.

Derwent Reservoir is a truly epic place to get married and when your family homestead lies at its side it adds the beautiful personal touch to the proceedings.

But don’t just take my word for it, check out bride Lara’s take on the day and even more of the images over at Whimsical Wonderland Weddings.
Lara and Max also seemed to have picked some of loveliest suppliers for their big day as well:

Jo from My Perfect Ceremony uttered the photographers dream words of "Go where you like. Just be respectful" to me just before the ceremony commenced.

Peaktipis helped (with a little help from Lara's Aunts cushion making skills) make sure everyone was sitting comfortably fro the marquee reception.

Thomas and the team from Thomas The Caterer kept my energy levels up with a super tasty plateful of chicken and chorizo.

And the gents from The Jive Doctors had the dance floor jumping from the get go and on into the early hours.
And on the Peakography stereo whilst editing were:

Send Away The Tigers by Manic Street Preachers
Down On the Upside by Soundgarden
Live From York Minster by Laura Marling
Listen For Tone by The Bonnevilles
I Wan'na Be Like You by Louis Prima (Jive Doctors got it stuck in my head during the reception!)
