I'm Colin and I'm a UK and destination wedding photographer, who shoots in a creative documentary and reportage style.
I'm based in the steel city of Sheffield, South Yorkshire, where I live my wife, Rae, and daughter, Ada. For the last five years, a high percentage of the weddings I’ve covered have been across the Derbyshire border in the ever beautiful Peak District, which is also where I spend most of my free time, either with the family or out running. I’ve also had the pleasure of travelling to the coast of Wales and the beaches of Jersey to capture some fabulous festival style weddings.
Recently going dairy free has unfortunately curbed my Yorkshire Tea obsession, but I'm still the same easy going, friendly, approachable, music-loving, guitar-playing, mini-driving, motorbike-riding Sheffielder I always have been.
I start early and finish late so as to capture the full story of your day and I do it in a friendly, discreet and unobtrusive manner. I like the post-wedding response to be “I don’t even remember him taking that!” I'm there to capture your day, not influence it. I love a good kilt at a wedding and I know there’s no such thing as a Gruffalo.
So if you like what you see and think I’d be a good fit for your day, get in touch and let’s have a chat about your plans!
